AHAV Equipment Alerts: How Recipients Opt In

AHAV sends critical equipment fault alerts by text message to facility operators and maintenance staff at spa and mikvah sites that use the AHAV SCADA monitoring platform. Opt-in has two steps.

Step 1: Site administrator adds the recipient, with their permission

A staff member who wants alerts gives their mobile number to their site administrator. The administrator enters it on the Alert Recipients page of the AHAV web application (behind a login) and must tick the consent checkbox below, which is not pre-selected, before saving.

Checkbox text:

☐ This person has agreed to receive critical equipment alert text messages from AHAV for this site. Msg frequency varies by equipment conditions. Msg & data rates may apply. They will receive a confirmation text and must reply YES before alerts begin. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Terms of Service | Privacy Policys

Step 2: Recipient confirms by text

When the number is saved, the recipient receives this message. No alerts are sent until they reply YES.

AHAV: You've been added as an equipment alert recipient for [Site Name]. Reply YES to confirm and start receiving critical fault alerts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
